Combination of drilled holes + directional slots for dual‑optimized friction surface
Unlike simple slotted‑only rotors, this model adopts precisely machined through‑holes together with angled slots. Slots continuously scrape off glazed layer on brake pads and expel pad dust and grit. Drilled holes accelerate heat dissipation and rapidly vent hot gas generated under heavy braking. The dual‑feature design delivers more thorough cleaning and cooling effect than single‑slot rotors.
Optimized hole‑edge processing to relieve stress risk
Cheap drilled‑slotted discs leave sharp unprocessed hole edges, creating stress concentration points. Under repeated hot‑cold cycling, cracks easily spread outward from holes. Our rotors adopt chamfered hole edges. Precision deburring reduces stress build‑up around each hole, greatly lowering crack risk for street daily use while preserving performance advantages.
Vented inner vane structure handles high heat load
Internal curved ventilation vanes form forced‑air cooling channels. When vehicle is moving, airflow circulates inside the disc body to carry away massive heat generated under hard braking. Matched with surface holes and slots for extra surface heat dissipation, it suppresses brake fade much better than standard smooth rotors during downhill driving or aggressive braking.
Precision‑ground friction face, stable braking pedal feel
Friction surfaces are fine‑finished after drilling and slotting. Strictly control thickness variation and run‑out. It avoids brake pulsation or steering wheel shake during high‑speed braking. Optimized slot angle and hole layout also help new brake pads achieve fast bedding‑in.
Piece‑by‑piece dynamic balance compensation for material removal
Drilling and slotting remove material from friction surfaces, bringing inherent weight deviation. Instead of using standard balance parameters for smooth discs, every finished rotor undergoes independent dynamic‑balance calibration. It offsets weight loss caused by machining, ensuring smooth and vibration‑free high‑speed rotation.
Stress‑relieved high‑carbon cast iron blank
Cast iron raw material is fully stress‑relieved after casting. Uniform hardness distribution across disc body improves resistance against thermal warping and deformation under frequent heavy braking. It avoids partial over‑wear and surface scoring.
OE‑standard mounting dimensions for direct swap‑on upgrade
Center bore, mounting face and wheel bolt holes keep strict OE tolerances. It fits original hub, caliper without modification. Customers can upgrade braking performance directly without changing wheel hubs or brake assemblies.
‑ VS standard smooth vented rotor:Drilled + slotted design improves heat dissipation, gas evacuation and self‑cleaning ability for enhanced braking stability; sport appearance for upgrade market. ‑ VS slotted‑only rotor:Holes add gas venting and extra cooling capacity for heavier braking load. ‑ VS cheap low‑grade drilled‑slotted rotor:Chamfered hole edge reduces stress cracking risk; complete deburring and full dynamic balance; stress‑relieved cast iron blank. ‑ VS full racing rotor:Much more cost‑competitive for street use, without over‑engineering for track‑only extreme conditions.
