This brake disc is specifically designed for the right front wheel position on BMW models. While some models feature interchangeable front brake discs (not designated for specific sides), the “right front wheel” designation typically indicates that its design—such as the direction of ventilation slots on ventilated discs and mounting hole positions—is optimized for that specific location to ensure perfect compatibility with the vehicle. ECE R90 is a mandatory regulatory standard established by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe for the certification of braking system components. Simply put, a brake disc bearing an “E-mark” (e.g., E1 for German certification) and “R90” designation certifies that it has passed rigorous official testing, confirming its performance characteristics (such as dimensions, braking efficiency, and inertia) are equivalent to those of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part.

Important Note: In the European Union and other regions recognizing this standard, replacement brake discs must comply with the R90 standard. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle failing its annual inspection (MOT) and could affect insurance claims.
