1. Casting Quality: High-Carbon Grey Iron for Thermal Stability

Our front brake discs are cast from high-carbon grey iron (HT250 / G3000) with precisely controlled carbon and silicon content, ensuring consistent hardness (180-240 HB) and excellent thermal conductivity throughout the friction surface. The sand casting process is followed by controlled cooling to minimize internal stress, preventing thermal cracking and distortion that can occur in lower-quality castings under repeated heavy braking on Mercedes-Benz and VW performance models.

2. Machining Precision: DTV & Runout Control for Smooth Braking

Every disc is CNC machined with disc thickness variation (DTV) controlled to ≤ 0.02mm and lateral runout to ≤ 0.05mm, ensuring uniform pad contact and eliminating brake judder felt through the steering wheel. The friction surface is ground to Ra ≤ 1.6μm, providing the ideal texture for optimal pad bedding and consistent friction output from the first stop, with no need for on-car resurfacing before installation.

3. Drilled & Slotted Performance: Gas Evacuation for Wet Conditions

Our drilled and slotted configurations feature precision-machined holes and grooves that evacuate brake gas and water from the friction interface, improving initial bite in wet conditions and reducing fade during aggressive driving. The slots also sweep away dust and debris from the pad surface, preventing glazing and maintaining consistent friction — ideal for Mercedes-Benz AMG and VW GTI/R performance models demanding enhanced braking capability.

1. Shim Technology: Multi-Layer Vibration Dampening for Silence

Each brake pad features a multi-layer steel shim with rubber-bonded dampening layers that absorb vibration at the source, reducing brake squeal to below 60dB for quiet operation in premium Mercedes-Benz and VW cabins. The shim is mechanically bonded to the backing plate to prevent delamination, maintaining noise-dampening performance throughout the full service life — unlike cheaper alternatives where shims can peel after heating cycles.

2. Chamfer & Slot Design: Noise Suppression & Pad Stability

Our front brake pads feature precision-machined edge chamfers and center slots that suppress high-frequency vibration and reduce the contact area that can cause brake squeal during light braking. The chamfered edges ensure smooth pad entry into the caliper bracket, preventing binding and ensuring even pressure distribution, while the center slot accommodates thermal expansion and reduces the risk of pad cracking under heavy braking.

3. Accessory Kit Inclusion: Clips, Grease & Sensors for Complete Fit

Each brake pad set is available with a complete installation accessory kit including new abutment clips, anti-rattle hardware, high-temperature brake grease, and electronic wear sensors where applicable, ensuring a professional, complete installation with no need to source additional parts. The included hardware is manufactured to OE specifications for proper pad retention and smooth caliper sliding, reducing noise, uneven wear, and brake drag that can result from reusing old, worn hardware.

4. Quality Testing: Dynamometer & Road Test Validation

Every friction formulation undergoes rigorous dynamometer testing following SAE J2522 and ECE R90 protocols, validating friction coefficient, wear rate, noise, and fade performance across temperatures from -40°C to 300°C.
