On November 16, as the final chequered flag fell on the 72nd Macau Grand Prix – FIA GT World Cup, Chinese speed and Chinese manufacturing once again took centre stage. WINHERE Racing’s two key drivers – newly appointed Chief Product Experience Officer Ye Yifei and long-term Chief Driver & Product Testing Officer Deng Yi competed side-by-side against the world’s elite GT racers, both achieving outstanding results that demonstrated the exceptional performance and reliability of WINHERE products on the global stage.

As WINHERE Racing’s Chief Driver and Product Testing Officer for over two years, Deng Yi lived up to expectations in his personal GT World Cup debut. Piloting the Ferrari 296 GT3 with consistent pace and skilled defence, he ultimately claimed the FIA GT World Cup Silver Class victory, along with an impressive eighth-place overall finish.

From the start, Deng Yi demonstrated mature racecraft. Starting from tenth on the grid, he cleanly avoided first-lap incidents and steadily gained positions. Facing sustained pressure from rivals after the safety car period, he used precise positioning and calm defence to secure his position. This victory marks not only a personal career milestone but also stands as powerful proof of his enduring partnership and deep collaboration with WINHERE in race-proven development. Post-race, Deng Yi affirmed his commitment to continuing his role as a development engineer, integrating extreme track data and real-world feedback into the evolution of the WINHERE Black Series product line.

During the event, WINHERE Racing announced a major new collaboration: Ferrari factory driver and 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans overall winner – Ye Yifei – officially joining as WINHERE Chief Product Experience Officer.

As a standard-bearer for Chinese motorsport, Ye Yifei has repeatedly made history on the world stage, his achievements representing the pinnacle of Chinese racing speed. Returning to the Guia Circuit in this new role is built on a shared pursuit of ultimate performance and precision control. Starting fourth on the grid, Ye Yifei battled back after an early incident compromised his car’s aero balance, ultimately securing an excellent fourth-place overall finish with masterful driving skill. His exceptional talent and deep understanding of race car performance will provide WINHERE with the highest level of validation insight and R&D perspective.

"I am truly honoured to take on the role of Chief Product Experience Officer for WINHERE," Ye Yifei stated. "Every exploration of braking limits on the track represents the ultimate test of product performance. I look forward to contributing the experience and feedback gained from the world's top-level competitions – WEC, Le Mans, and Macau – to WINHERE's development team. Together, we will build even more competitive braking products and showcase the power of Chinese innovation to the world."

The addition of Ye Yifei, together with Deng Yi's continuous deep involvement, creates a dual-core R&D validation system for WINHERE. One, an Experience Officer at the summit of world motorsport, sets the ultimate performance benchmark; the other, a Testing Officer integral to the entire development process, ensures product stability and reliability under sustained competition. Their combined efforts allow WINHERE to use global top-tier racing as an open laboratory, continuously pushing the boundaries of high-performance braking technology.

From national circuits to the Asian series and now the GT World Cup podium, WINHERE is steadily fulfilling its core philosophy of 'development through competition'. This twin success in Macau is not merely a successful brand appearance, but a powerful technological statement. Looking ahead, WINHERE will continue to partner with exceptional Chinese drivers like Ye Yifei and Deng Yi, persistently validating product capabilities on the global stage, and driving parallel progress in both Chinese motorsport and high-performance component manufacturing.
