The braking system is the most critical system in a car, through which the car can be effectively slowed down and braked. A stable braking system provides a strong safety guarantee for the car. A car with good braking performance requires that when driving at any speed, the braking measures can reduce the speed or stop the car promptly and quickly within a very short time and distance. This article will give a brief introduction to the braking system.

The common types of braking system.

Braking system can be divided into running braking system, parking brake system, emergency braking system and auxiliary braking system. The braking system used to make the moving vehicle reduce speed or even stop is called the running brake system. the braking system used to make the stopped vehicle stay in place is called the parking brake system. in the case of failure of the running brake system, the braking system to ensure that the vehicle can still achieve deceleration or stop is called the emergency brake system. The braking system that can reduce the speed or keep the speed stable, but cannot stop the vehicle in an emergency is called the auxiliary braking system.

Critical accessories in the braking system.

·Brake discs

A brake disc is a round disk that rotates when the car is in motion. The brake caliper clamps onto the disc to produce braking force, and it is the disc that clamps onto the brake when the brakes are applied to slow down or stop the car.

·Brake Pads

Brake pads generally consist of a steel plate, a bonded insulation layer and a friction block, of which the insulation layer is made up of a non-heat transferring material for the purpose of insulation. Brake pads generate instantaneous high temperatures when braking, especially at high speeds or during emergency braking.

·Brake drums

A cast iron part shaped like a bell drum, which is fixed to the tyre and rotates at the same speed. When the brakes are applied, the brake shoes are pushed by hydraulic pressure against the inner edge of the drum, and the friction generated by the contact inhibits the rotation of the tyres to achieve the purpose of braking.

It enables a moving car to be forced to slow down or even stop in accordance with the driver's requirements. It allows a stopped car to be parked stably in various road conditions. It is able to remain the speed of a car travelling downhill stable. A prerequisite for an excellent braking component is that the brake components provide effective job security.

Future development of braking systems.

Brake systems have a very promising development prospect, because China's better economic environment provides a strong guarantee for the sustainable development of the automotive parts industry. At this stage, the international industrial division of labour driven by economic globalization is conducive to the global allocation of resources in China, which has also led to a gradual increase in the demand for braking systems for automobiles. It is expected that in the future, global sourcing will provide new development opportunities for China's auto parts industry. As a major manufacturer of automotive brake parts, Winhere will take the quality and variety of our products to the next level.
